Why choose Glitz for your toddler?

Every child deserves an unfair advantage. Some of our preschoolers may become tumblers and cheerleaders, but most will not. We do hope that they all go on to find a sport or activity that they love, the way we love tumbling. That being said, tumbling is the perfect first step for any small child to develop skills for the future, whether they are physical, cognitive, or social skills, our program addresses the whole child as a work in progress.

Classes are separated by age to allow peer group development and skill diversification. All lessons are progressive in development and focus on jumping, balancing, large and small motor development, spatial awareness, hand/eye and hand/foot coordination as well as inverted support.

We also include many kindergarten-readiness skills like learning letters, numbers, grouping, colors, and social development.

The program starts with

  • Parent Tot Class: (15-24 months) In this program, the parent is in included in participation, not only to help guide the child, but to have constructive playtime with them.

  • Preschool: (ages 3-4 years) This class is the next step in the progression of our tumbling program. This class incorporates kindergarten readiness skills, like colors, shapes, numbers and letters as well as providing movement education basic building blocks. As well as large and small motor skills, tumbling progressions, balance, jumping, etc.

  • Preschool: (ages 5-6 years) This is where a child can really “launch” into skill development. It provides a good transition into the developmental programs of cheerleading, tumbling, or fitness.

Why pick Glitz for preschool age kids?

We understand your kids. Glitz carefully chooses their instructors to make sure they are passionate about children and their development. The instructors are not there to teach a regimented lesson from a handbook, they are there because they love to share their passion for tumbling and they love to work with kids.  Our directors are in a constant state of learning and improving our program. We are affiliated with child development organizations as well as tumbling and cheerleading. Our staff is always learning. We don’t fall back on attending a one time corporate training to learn to teach, we live our teaching role so your kids learn from the best versed and most qualified instructors in the Janesville Area.
